Exposed Concrete

Exposed concrete finish leaves your concrete with a look similar to a 'gravelled' area.

The Exposed look is achieved by applying a chemical retarder onto the concrete surface, and washing off the top layer of cement after the desired curing time.

This process exposes the underlying stones and pebbles of the concrete, which creates the Exposed look.

The final look is determined by the combination of the base concrete colour, and the different type, sizes and colours of the stones and pebbles used, allowing for a vast variety of Exposed concrete looks.

The colours available to use as the base colour for exposed concrete are slightly different to the colours available for other concrete finishes.

However, to determine your desired colour for your exposed concrete, please view the Colour Palette and a similar base colour can be selected from there.
